Veterans Field
Voted by ESPN as the #2 high school field in the country.
Veterans Field, the only high school TURF field in the state, is used for Minnetonka High School, community baseball and football programs throughout the year. The complex is made of a synthetic turf playing surface with lights and a 600-seat grandstand. The complex consists of one Varsity Baseball Field and two practice or youth football fields.
The stadium was a gift to the Minnetonka School District from the Minnetonka Diamond Club and its contributors. Veterans Field was named by Cambria, a Minnesota company, who purchased naming rights for the field. Rather than name the field for the company itself, Cambria chose the name “Veterans Field” to honor all Veterans. The name not only pays tribute to all Veterans, but is intended to foster community among youth, baseball and Veterans.
Veterans Field is home to the Minnetonka High School Baseball Teams, Excelsior Legion Baseball Teams, Maynard’s Mudhens, Senior Babe Ruth Baseball Teams, Minnetonka Millers (10 times Minnesota Class "A" State Champions) and the Minnetonka Youth Football Program.
Legacy Fields
Legacy Fields opened in May 2008 and is a four field softball complex directly behind Veterans Field.
Legacy Fields is home to the Minnetonka High School Girls Softball Teams and the Minnetonka Girls Softball Association (MGSA.)
